Genosha?

Is anyone else reading the news sites? I should be studying for my last final tomorrow, but there is so much to catch up on. It seems Phillip and Jenny were right about Genosha drafting mutants to work against their will. Of course the Genoshans are denying it, but there are many questions being raised.

I wish Jenny and Phillip were here to see it.

I saw something about that online - what the heck is going on? Sooraya and I were talking right after I got back and she said those two Genoshans mentioned in the article were staying here before they disappeared...?

I'll admit, I wasn't exactly following all of this while I was in England.

Like the Times article says, Jenny and Phillip were refugees from Genosha, seeking asylum. Jenny is a mutant and did not want to have to be taken away to work in the industrial area. It got a lot of attention because Phillip is the son of the Genoshan President, David Moreau, and the Genoshans wanted them to come back.

They were here for a time while the political issues were being debated. They were supposed to go to Muir Island, but they vanished from their hotel, even with the FBI guarding them. No-one has seen them since. :(

The X-Men did manage to capture some Genoshan mutant-smugglers, but they also vanished, during questioning. We have been able to find out they take mutants from other countries against their wills, but there is no proof that does not disappear into the thin air.. It is very frustrating.

I did. I think someone might be organising a protest at the Genoshian embassy. Want to come with me?

The HeliX people are already going, so yes, I will be there. :) Perhaps we should see if anyone else from the school is wanting to go?

I have been following the news at Elpis... I checked some things with the resources we have there and it all seems to fit...

I'm not a big politico or anything but yeah, it's hard not to pay attention to it.
